Soak 1 cup of almonds in cold water with a pinch of salt and leave covered overnight.

The next day, rinse the soaked almonds and optionally peel them for a paler color and easier cleaning of cheesecloth.

Add the rinsed almonds to 2 cups of water, followed by vanilla extract, maple syrup, and another pinch of salt.

Strain the mixture through several layers of clean cheesecloth to get a smooth almond milk.

Store the almond milk in a clean container for 3 to 5 days in the fridge or proceed to make chocolate almond milk.

Add 1.5 cups of almond milk to a NutriBullet, followed by your favorite collagen.

Add cocoa powder and a little bit of maple syrup to the NutriBullet.

Blend everything up, pour it out, and top with a little bit of cocoa powder before serving.
