Heat lard in a pot until hot.
Add potatoes cut into small cubes and fry for a few minutes to get a crust.
Near the end, add around one clove of minced garlic and a teaspoon of crushed caraway seeds.
Cover everything with chicken stock.
Add salt, pepper, and bay leaves, then cover with a lid.
Cook potatoes for about 20 to 25 minutes.
Make croutons by chopping up rye bread into thin cubes.
Heat a hefty amount of olive oil and toss the bread inside, mixing for 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown.
Once potatoes are cooked, remove bay leaves and add 3 to 4 cloves of minced garlic.
Crack two eggs directly into the pot and mix to form different yellow and white parts.
Keep the heat on for just a minute more before turning off the stove and adding me.
