Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 0.5 cm thick.
Cut shapes using cookie cutters and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until lightly golden.
Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.
Mix powdered sugar with a little milk to create icing.
Decorate the cooled cookies with icing as desired.
