Bok Choy with Garlic and Oyster Sauce

This dish highlights the natural sweetness of bok choy, enhanced by the umami of oyster sauce and the aromatic kick of garlic. Soy sauce is lower in calories and can provide a similar umami flavor.
Rinse the bok choy well and cut into bite-sized pieces, making the stem pieces smaller than the leaf parts.
Cut the clove of garlic, ginger, and green onion into small pieces and set aside.
Heat sesame oil in a pan over low heat.
Add the cut garlic, ginger, and green onion to the pan and stir-fry until fragrant.
Increase the heat to medium and add the bok choy stems first, stirring until they become soft, about 2 minutes.
Add the bok choy leaves and stir-fry until they are tender.
Add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, mixing well to combine.
Serve immediately.
