Add 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, 1/2 cup organic sugar, 1 cup flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla to the bowl.

Whisk the mixture until smooth and let it sit for a few minutes to rehydrate the flour.

Heat an electric waffle cone maker to the highest setting and spray with oil.

Using a quarter cup measure, pour batter into the center of the heated maker and close it, pressing down gently.

Cook for about 2 minutes, checking for doneness before opening.
