Add a splash of vanilla extract (about 1/2 to 1 teaspoon) to the mixture.

Mix the ingredients together until well combined, adjusting the consistency with a little juice from the fruit cocktail if necessary.

Grease a baking dish and pour the batter into it, smoothing it out evenly.
