Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup

2 cups onion
1 cup celery
1 cup carrots
2 teaspoons oregano
1 teaspoon salt
0.5 teaspoon black pepper
1 bay leaf
pinch of rosemary
2 sprigs thyme
6 cups chicken broth
2-3 cloves garlic
0.5 cup whole wheat orzo
4 cups kale
juice of 1 lemon

Pre-cut chicken into one-inch strips and cook for 4-5 minutes until slightly brown.

Add cooked chicken to the Crock-pot.

Add 2 cups of diced onion to the Crock-pot.

Add 1 cup of diced celery to the Crock-pot.

Add 1 cup of diced carrots to the Crock-pot.
