6 cups chicken broth
1 cup orzo pasta
2 precooked chicken breasts, cut into small pieces
2 large carrots, chopped
1 rib of celery, chopped
1 small onion, diced
4 large garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 lemon, juiced
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon basil leaves
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to a heated Dutch oven and let it come to temperature over medium heat.

Add chopped carrots, chopped celery, and diced onion to the Dutch oven and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes.

Add minced garlic, dried thyme, basil, parsley flakes, and ground black pepper to the vegetables and cook for 1 minute.

Pour in the chicken broth and stir.

Add the precooked chicken breast pieces and mix well, then bring to a simmer by raising the heat to medium-high.
