Greek yogurt reduces calories while maintaining creaminess
Start by adding 1 pound of ground beef to a skillet over medium heat.
Add chopped onions to the ground beef so they can cook together.
Season with 2 tablespoons of garlic salt, 2 tablespoons of chili powder, and 2 tablespoons of cumin.
Brown the meat for about 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Incorporate the refried beans into the browned meat mixture and stir well.
Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a separate pan.
Add 1/4 cup of flour to the melted butter and cook for about a minute to remove the raw flour taste.
Gradually add 2 cups of chicken broth to the flour mixture, stirring to avoid lumps.
Once the mixture is smooth and bubbling, remove it from heat.
Stir in 1 cup of sour cream and 1 can of green chiles into the sauce until well combined.
To build the burrito, place some cheddar cheese on a flour tortilla.
Add the meat and bean mixture on top of the cheese.
Roll the tortilla tightly to form a burrito.
Place the burrito seam-side down on a plate and drizzle with the green chile sauce.
Top with additional cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes as desired.
