3/4 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 large egg yolk
1 tablespoon grated lemon zest
1 tablespoon Cognac
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour

In the bowl of your stand mixer, combine the melted butter, sugar, egg, egg yolk, grated lemon zest, Cognac, and vanilla.

Mix well at medium speed for approximately 5 minutes.
