Gather all ingredients: 2 lbs lean ground beef, 1 large onion diced, 2 garlic cloves minced, 1 lb egg noodles, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 can cheddar cheese soup, 1 cup milk, 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, salt, black pepper, seasoned salt, and 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
Add the ground beef to the hot skillet and break it into smaller pieces with a spatula as it cooks.
Brown the beef until it has a deep, rich color, ensuring maximum flavor.
Add the chopped onion to the browned beef and cook until the onions are soft and translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Drain any excess grease from the skillet to prevent the casserole from being greasy.
While the beef is browning, cook the egg noodles in salted boiling water until just al dente, then drain them well.
Add the cream of mushroom soup, cheddar cheese soup, and milk to the skillet with the beef mixture.
Season with a dash of seasoned salt, a pinch of black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce, then stir until combined and the sauce starts to bubble gently.
Let the sauce simmer for a couple of minutes to meld the flavors together.
Combine the cooked noodles with the beefy sauce in a 9x13 inch baking dish, ensuring every noodle is coated.
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed, then spread the mixture evenly in the baking dish.
Sprinkle 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese over the top, covering every inch for a perfect cheesy crust.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake the casserole uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
Let the casserole rest for 5-10 minutes before serving to help it set.
