Stir salt with pepper to season the chopped steak and let it rest.
Cut the large onion into half slices.
Chop the Serrano peppers into slices or strips as preferred.
In a pan over heat, add cooking oil and fry the seasoned steak.
Before the steak is fully browned, add the onion and chopped chili.
Once the steak begins to brown, add the seasoning juice and stir well.
Continue stirring until the onions begin to brown and the steak is fully cooked.
Remove the pan from heat once the steak and onions are cooked.
Place a comal or flat pan on low heat to warm the tortillas, turning them 2-3 times without letting them brown.
Remove the warmed tortilla from heat and fill it with cheese and refried beans, ensuring edges are free for folding.
Add the cooked steak on top of the cheese and beans, stirring to melt the cheese without browning it too much.
Once filled, place the burritos on a plate and cover them to keep warm.
Chop the onion, tomato, and avocado while the burritos are being prepared.
Serve the burritos on a bed of lettuce, topped with the avocado salad and grated cheese.
