zest of one orange
3 ounces of pure pineapple juice
2 ounces of Malibu rum
1 ounce of water
one fourth of an ounce of blue curacao

Add half an ounce of grenadine to a cup without ice.

For homemade grenadine, combine 1 cup of pomegranate juice, 1 cup of sugar, and the zest of one orange, simmer for 15 minutes, then cool fully.

In a separate glass, add 3 ounces of pure pineapple juice and 2 ounces of Malibu rum, then stir to combine.

In another glass, add 1 ounce of water and one fourth of an ounce of blue curacao.

Add crushed ice to the glass with grenadine.

Slowly pour the pineapple and rum mixture over the ice.

Add more crushed ice on top of the pineapple and rum mixture.
