Begin by introducing the dish and its ingredients.
Add 2 lbs of ground pork to a heavy bottom pot with a little sunflower oil to prevent sticking.
Render the fat from the pork until it is no longer pink, then drain the fat.
Add 1 large chopped onion and 1 minced celery stalk to the pot with the pork.
Crush and add 2 cloves of garlic to the mixture.
Season with 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of pepper, and 1 teaspoon of savory.
Add a touch of allspice and ground cloves, along with 2-3 bay leaves.
Pour in 2 cups of water and stir the mixture, then cover and simmer for about 15 minutes.
After 10 minutes, add a little white wine (about 1/4 cup) and the boiled potatoes, mashing them into the mixture.
Let the mixture simmer uncovered for another 5-10 minutes to thicken.
Remove from heat and let cool for about 10 minutes before filling the pie crust.
Fill the pie shell with the cooked filling, ensuring to remove any bay leaves.
Cover with pie crust and crimp the edges.
Beat 1 egg with 1 tablespoon of milk and brush it on top of the crust for a glossy finish.
Bake in the oven at 425°F until the crust is crispy, about 30 minutes.
