1

In a bowl, add 1 1/2 teaspoons dry yeast, 1 tablespoon sugar, and 100 milliliters warm water. Whisk to combine and let it rest for 5 minutes.

2

Add 230 grams all purpose flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 30 milliliters warm water. Mix and knead into a smooth dough.

3

Add 1 tablespoon oil and knead it well. Cover with cling wrap and let it rest for 1–2 hours.

4

After resting, knead again. Place the dough on a floured surface, divide into two pieces, roll, and cut into small portions.

5

Shape each portion into a ball. Transfer the dough balls to a baking tray, cover, and let rest for 30 minutes.

6

In a bowl, add 1 tablespoon milk, 1 tablespoon melted butter, and 1/2 teaspoon sugar. Mix well to combine.

7

Brush the milk-butter mixture over the rested dough balls.

8

Preheat the oven to 356°F/180°C and bake for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven.

9

Assemble the mini sandwiches on skewers: prick a bun, add lettuce, cherry tomato, cheese cube, more lettuce, and top with another bun.

10

Serve with your favourite dip.
