Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. 2Season the beef roast with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  3. 3Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  4. 4Sear the beef roast on all sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. 5Transfer the seared beef to a roasting pan and add beef broth and water.
  6. 6Cover with foil and roast in the oven for 2-3 hours until tender.
