Turkey White Bean Pumpkin Chili

2 lbs ground turkey
1 can pumpkin puree
2 cups chicken broth
4 oz can diced green chilies
1 small onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 bay leaves
1 teaspoon chili powder
1.5 tablespoons cumin
1 teaspoon dried oregano

Heat a pan over medium high heat and spray with cooking spray.

Add diced onion to the pan and sauté until translucent and slightly colored.

Add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Add ground turkey to the pan and break it up as it cooks until it is white and cooked through.

Season the turkey with salt and pepper to taste while cooking.

Once the turkey is cooked, add the spices (chili powder, cumin, oregano) to the meat and stir to combine.
