Pizza Dip

1 tablespoon Grill Italiano seasoning
1 cup pizza sauce
4 oz pepperonis
1/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 clove garlic
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
parmesan cheese

Form pizza dough into 1.5 oz balls, about 16 total.

Grease a 12-inch skillet with olive oil.

Roll each portion of dough into a ball using your thumb and the side of your hand.

Cover the dough balls with plastic wrap and let them rise for 1.5 to 2 hours until proofed.

Prepare the dip by mixing together 1 block of cream cheese and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.

Add 1 tablespoon of Grill Italiano seasoning to the cream cheese and mozzarella mixture.

Place the dip mixture in the center of the proofed dough in the skillet.

Top the dip with 1 cup of pizza sauce and 4 oz of pepperonis.

Add another 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce and pepperonis.

Make garlic butter by melting 1/4 cup of butter with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 grated clove of garlic.

Brush the garlic butter over the outer edges of the dough in the skillet and drizzle some on top of the dip.

Bake in a wood-fired oven at 450°F for about 15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
