3 cups coconut milk

Wash 3 cups of red lentils in cold water a couple of times.

Add 1 cup of chopped onion, 1 tbsp of garlic, fresh chili to taste, 1/4 cup of pandam leaves, 1/4 cup of curry leaves, and salt to taste into the pan.

Add a piece of cinnamon stick and stir for 2-3 minutes.

Add 3 tsp of chili powder, 3 tsp of unroasted curry powder, and 1 tsp of turmeric; stir for a couple of minutes on medium heat.

Add 3 cups of coconut milk and bring to a boil.

Lower the heat and cook for about 8-9 minutes until thickened.
