1

Start with the dry ingredients: combine 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup whole wheat flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a bowl and whisk together.

2

In a separate bowl, add 1 stick of butter and 1/2 cup of sugar. Use a hand mixer to cream them together until fluffy.

3

Crack in 1 egg and add 1/4 cup pure maple syrup and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Beat until combined.

4

Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until the dry ingredients are no longer visible.

5

Add 1 cup of oats, 1/2 cup of chocolate chips, 1/2 cup of m&ms, 1/4 cup of peanuts, 1/4 cup of raisins, and 1/4 cup of pecans to the mixture. Mix with a mixer until combined, then finish mixing by hand if necessary.

6

Use a cookie scoop to portion the dough and roll them into balls.

7

Press extra m&ms or chocolate chips on top of the cookie balls for decoration.

8

Preheat the oven to 375°F and bake the cookies for about 8 minutes until they look slightly underdone and molten in the center.
