How to Make Cherries Jubilee

Drain a can of cherries and save the juice.

Place the cherry juice in a small skillet.

Add sugar to the cherry juice and reduce by half or a little bit more.

Add the cherries to the syrup.

Add some booze to the mixture.

Turn off the heat and carefully light it up.

Once the flames subside, reduce the mixture again until thickened.

Finish with a little bit of butter.

Serve hot or chill for a few hours before pouring over vanilla ice cream.
