1

Wash 1 cup of sushi rice by adding water and stirring, then drain and repeat until the water is clear.

2

Place the washed rice in a rice cooker and add 1 and 1/4 cup of water. Cook the rice in the rice cooker.

3

In a measuring cup or small bowl, mix 1/4 cup of rice vinegar, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt until well combined. Set aside.

4

Once the rice is cooked, place it in a large bowl and season it with the sushi vinegar, mixing it into the rice.

5

Cover the inside of a small baking dish with plastic wrap and tightly pack the seasoned rice into the dish.

6

Cover the packed rice and place it in the freezer for 45 minutes.

7

Prepare toppings by shredding or chopping 4-5 sticks of imitation crab and mixing it with 2 tablespoons of mayo and 2 tablespoons of sriracha. Set aside.

8

Slice half a cucumber, cut one serrano pepper into slices, and peel and slice 1 avocado. Set aside the toppings.

9

After 45 minutes, take the rice out of the baking dish and cut it into equal sections.

10

Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat for frying. Shallow fry the rice sections until golden brown on each side.

11

Once fried, place the crispy rice on a paper towel-covered plate and repeat until all rice is cooked.

12

Assemble the crispy rice by placing a piece on a plate and adding slices of avocado, cucumber, spicy crab, serrano pepper, green onions, and sesame seeds.
