Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Butter an 8 x 4 loaf pan and coat lightly with sugar.
Beat softened butter and then add sugar, beating until fluffy.
Add eggs and beat until combined.
Add milk and pineapple syrup, mixing well.
In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until combined.
Once mixed, add drained crushed pineapple and mix until evenly distributed.
Pour mixture into the buttered bread pan.
Bake at 350°F for 45-50 minutes.
Let cool and turn bread out of the pan once cooled.
Poke holes into the top of the bread.
In a mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar, vanilla, and pineapple syrup.
Slowly pour the glaze over the bread.
Slice and enjoy.
