Avocado Salsa

1 large ripe avocado
1/2 lemon (juice)
1/4 red onion
2 garlic cloves
2 jalapeno peppers (with seeds)
1/2 bunch of cilantro
1/3 teaspoon chili pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup water

Cut the large avocado in half and remove the pit.

Scoop out the avocado flesh into a bowl using a spoon.

Place the avocado into a blender for a creamy salsa.

Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon, straining out the seeds.

Add 1/4 red onion, 2 garlic cloves, 2 jalapeno peppers (with seeds), and 1/2 bunch of cilantro to the blender.

Add 1/3 teaspoon chili pepper flakes, 1/4 teaspoon cumin, and 1 teaspoon salt.

Pour in 1/4 cup of water and blend the mixture.

If the mixture is too thick, add another 1/4 cup of water and blend again.

Taste the salsa and adjust with more salt and remaining lemon juice as desired.

Blend until the salsa is smooth and creamy, with no chunky parsley leaves visible.
