Pour in enough boiling water to completely cover the ingredients in the pot.

Cover the pot and simmer on medium heat for about 1 hour.

After 50 minutes, add garlic and raisins to the pot and cook for another 10 minutes with the lid on.

Rinse the rice thoroughly until the water runs clear, then soak it for a while.

Pour boiling water over the rice, adding a little salt (about half a teaspoon), and cover the pot again.
