Season pork chops with salt, black pepper, cumin, and paprika.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Add pork chops to the skillet and sear until browned, about 4-5 minutes per side.

Remove pork chops from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add sliced onions and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Stir in cumin, oregano, and jalapeños, cooking for another 2 minutes.

Return pork chops to the skillet and add chicken broth and lime juice.

Add bay leaves and bring to a simmer.

Cover and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes until pork is cooked through.

Remove bay leaves and stir in chopped cilantro before serving.

Serve hot with rice or tortillas.
