Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until a firm, non-sticky dough forms.
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (overnight is best).
Roll out the dough to 5–6 mm thickness.
Cut out your house pieces (walls and roof).
Bake at 170°C / 340°F for 12–15 minutes until firm and deep golden brown.
While still hot, trim edges for clean shapes.
Let cool completely before assembling.
Use stiff royal icing as glue. Assemble walls first, let them set, then add the roof.
