Coconut oil is a healthier fat alternative.
In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of yeast, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of salt.
Pour in 3/4 cup of warm water and 1/4 cup of olive oil, then mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth.
Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes instead of 1 hour.
Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread 1/4 cup of margarine evenly on top.
Fold the dough into thirds, then roll it out again into a rectangle.
Repeat the folding and rolling process two more times, making a total of three folds and rolls.
Cut the dough into triangles and place your desired filling at the base (filling not specified in the video).
Roll the triangles from the base to the tip to form croissants.
Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Let the croissants rise for another 15 minutes instead of 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Bake the croissants for 15 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
