Add the peeled lime to the blender with the ice cubes.

Add 1/4 cup of sugar to the blender.

Measure and add 2 ounces of tequila to the blender.

Measure and add 2 ounces of triple sec to the blender.

Blend the mixture until smooth.

Prepare the glasses by rubbing lime around the rim.

Dip the rim of the glasses in salt to coat them.

Pour the blended margarita mixture into the prepared glasses.
