Prepare the pie crust a day ahead and refrigerate until ready to use.
In a food processor, add 480 g all-purpose flour and 15 g salt.
Cut 240 g cold butter into inch cubes and pulse in the food processor until crumbly.
Mix in 150 g cold water and pulse 4-5 times until the dough forms.
Divide the dough in half and refrigerate for at least 40 minutes.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface to fit an 8-inch tart mold.
Place the rolled dough into the mold and cut off excess crust.
For the filling, chop 1 medium-sized onion and 3 cloves of garlic.
In a skillet, heat oil or butter, add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
Add 300 g ground pork and 400 g ground beef to the skillet, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks.
Stir in 1 tsp cinnamon, a pinch of cloves, and grated potato.
Deglaze with 1/4 cup vegetable broth or chicken broth, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Fill the pie crust with the meat mixture, adding optional ingredients like mashed potatoes or mushrooms.
Cover with the top crust, crimp the edges, and cut steam holes in the top.
Brush with an egg wash made from egg yolk and bake at 375°F for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
