1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup ketchup
1 can tomato sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Cut up 1 onion and 2 cloves of garlic finely minced.

Heat 1 tablespoon of canola oil in a large skillet.

Add the minced onion, garlic, 1 stalk of diced celery, and 1/2 of a diced green bell pepper to the skillet.

Season with a little bit of salt and pepper.

Cook until the vegetables are translucent.

Add 1 pound of ground beef to the skillet and cook until it loses its pinkness.

Add 1/4 cup of ketchup, 1 can of tomato sauce, and 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce to the meat mixture.

Cook until the mixture reduces and thickens, about 6 to 8 minutes.

Taste the mixture and adjust seasoning if necessary.

Serve the homemade Sloppy Joe's on toasted buns.
