1

Start by cooking one pound of hamburger in the rock crock on the stovetop for about three minutes to get a good sear.

2

Flip the hamburger to sear the second side for a few minutes.

3

Use a mix and chop spatula to break up the meat into small pieces while continuing to stir.

4

Add garlic seasoning, three onion rub, chili powder, ketchup, and apple cider vinegar to the meat.

5

Transfer the mixture to the slow cooker stand and set it to cook on low for one hour, which will automatically cut off and keep warm afterward.

6

Boil the hot dogs until cooked.

7

Butter the top of the hot dog buns and place cheese in the bottom of each bun.

8

Toast the buns in the air fryer until slightly crispy.

9

Place a hot dog in each bun, then top with the homemade chili mixture.

10

Add more cheese on top of the chili.

11

Put the assembled hot dogs under the broiler in the oven for a few minutes to toast the cheese until bubbly and golden.

12

Serve with optional toppings like pickle relish, onions, mustard, and ketchup.
