In a bowl, combine 1/2 of a 15 ounce container of whole milk ricotta, 3 tablespoons of parmesan cheese, a pinch of salt, black pepper, and some chiffonade basil. Mix until combined.

Place dollops of the ricotta mixture on top of the lasagna and sprinkle the reserved mozzarella on top.
