Pour the beef mixture over the cabbage, spreading evenly.
Add bay leaves on top and cover the dish with foil.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving, garnished with parsley.
