1 lb ground beef
1 lb ground sausage meat (mild or hot)
1 onion (very finely diced)
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
1 teaspoon kosher salt (or to taste)
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper (or to taste)
24 oz can crushed tomatoes
15 oz can tomato sauce
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/2 head green cabbage (about 5-6 cups - chopped into 1-inch pieces)
2 cups cooked rice
