1 cup brown rice
1 cabbage
1 can of chopped tomatoes or tomato sauce
3/4 stick of butter
1 tsp flour
1/2 cup of water
2 cups of sour cream

Sauté 1 chopped onion in a skillet.

Add a 10 ounce bag of shredded carrots to the onions and sauté until slightly soft.

Add 1 small can of tomato paste and 2 tbsp minced garlic; mix for a few minutes.

In a bowl, combine 1 1/2 lbs ground beef and 1 lb ground chicken.

Add 2 eggs to the meat mixture.

Add the sautéed carrot and onion mix to the meat.

Add 1 cup chopped parsley, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, and 1 tsp garlic powder; mix until combined.

Cook 1 cup brown rice according to package instructions.

Cut and pull out the core of 1 cabbage and place it in boiling water for 10-15 minutes until soft.

Melt 3/4 of a stick of butter in a pan.

Gently separate the cabbage leaves from the head.

Fill each cabbage leaf with 1 tsp of the meat mixture and tightly roll, folding in the sides to seal.

Layer the cabbage rolls in a baking pan and pour half of the sauce over the first layer of rolls.

Repeat the steps until all cabbage rolls are used.

Place the pan into a pre-heated oven at 375°F for 60 minutes.
