1-1/2 pounds ground beef
1 chopped yellow onion
1 chopped green pepper
1/2 can (4 oz) tomato sauce
1 cup gluten free bread crumbs
1 beaten egg
1-1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 can (4 oz) tomato sauce
1 can water (8oz)
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon mustard
1 tablespoon vinegar

Preheat your oven to 350˚ F.

Make the sauce by combining all sauce ingredients into a small mixing bowl and whisk thoroughly.

Beat an egg inside a large mixing bowl.

Chop the onion and green pepper.

Add the onion, green pepper, tomato sauce, gluten free bread crumbs, salt and pepper to the large mixing bowl which contains the egg, and thoroughly mix with a large wooden spoon.

Add the ground beef to the large bowl, and mix all ingredients with your hands until the ground beef is fully saturated.

Form the mixed ground beef into a loaf and add to your non-stick baking sheet.

Bake at 350˚ F for 1-1/2 hours, basting your meatloaf with the sauce after ½ hour and then every 20 minutes.

Pour remaining juices over your meatloaf before serving.
