Panetes de Jaén, dulce de la abuela con pan duro (fácil y económico)

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Stir in milk and vanilla extract until combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.

Fold in lemon zest, orange zest, raisins, and pine nuts.

Spoon the batter into greased muffin tins, filling each cup about two-thirds full.

Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of each muffin.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes in the pan.

Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
