Heat 1/2 cup of grapeseed oil in a frying pan until hot.
Fry the potatoes until they have a crispy surface, then remove and set aside.
Fry the chicken legs in the hot oil for approximately 6 minutes until browned on the outside, then remove from the oil.
Fry 2 large chopped onions and 1 clove minced garlic in the same oil for about 2 minutes until softened.
Add 2 tablespoons of tomato puree to the onions and garlic; fry for about 5 minutes until it separates from the onions.
Stir in 1 can of finely crushed tomatoes to create the sauce base.
Add 2 tablespoons of creamy peanut butter to the sauce and stir until well combined.
Add 2 filled cans of water to the sauce for moisture.
Add vegetable broth instead of salt for flavor.
Incorporate 3 large carrots into the sauce.
Crush 1 Maggi cube into the sauce and stir to avoid lumps.
Add the chicken back into the sauce and boil everything together for approximately 45 minutes.
Transfer to a slow cooker and add the potatoes on top to steam cook for 45 minutes.
