Heat 1/2 cup olive oil in a pan.
Add finely chopped onions and sauté until translucent.
Add ground beef little by little, stirring to break up clumps until fully cooked.
Add minced garlic and mix well.
Stir in spices: salt, paprika, black pepper, and cumin, and let simmer until meat is tender.
Add finely chopped parsley and mix.
Add 1 cup of water to ensure even cooking and let it simmer.
Let the mixture cool for about 30 minutes.
Add 1 egg, bread crumbs, and optional cream cheese to the cooled mixture and mix well.
Prepare the banana bell peppers by cutting off the tops and removing the seeds.
Fill each pepper with the meat mixture using a long spoon.
Dip the top part of the pepper in flour.
Deep-fry the stuffed peppers in corn oil for about 3 minutes on each side until cooked.
