Prepare the basil vinaigrette by blending 1 cup of fresh basil with a quarter of a garlic clove, a pinch of oregano, about 1 tablespoon of red wine vinegar, and 2-3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil until creamy.
Cut cherry tomatoes in half and add them to the vinaigrette.
Cut fresh mozzarella into quarters and then halves to make bite-sized pieces, season with salt, and add to the bowl.
Add the cooked pasta to the bowl and mix everything together well.
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Let sit in the fridge for an hour before serving for better flavor.
