In a large bowl, combine 3 3/4 cups bread flour, 1 packet instant yeast, and 1 3/4 teaspoons kosher salt.
Stir the dry ingredients together with a wooden spoon.
Add 1 1/2 cups of warm water (about 120 degrees) while stirring.
Mix until a dough forms, ensuring all flour is hydrated.
Cover the bowl and let it rise for 1 1/2 to 2 hours at room temperature, or refrigerate for 8 to 24 hours for an overnight rise.
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit and place a Dutch oven inside to heat for 30 minutes.
If refrigerated, let the dough come to room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes before shaping.
Shape the dough by flipping it over in the bowl and rotating it to create a smooth finish.
Transfer the shaped dough onto a sheet of parchment paper and let it rest for about 10 to 30 minutes.
Cut a 1/4 inch deep slit on top of the dough for expansion during baking.
Carefully place the dough into the hot Dutch oven and cover with the lid.
Bake for 30 minutes, then remove the lid and bake for an additional 13 to 17 minutes until golden brown.
Let the bread cool before slicing.
