Delmonico Steak

2 ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
2 tablespoons butter

Remove the steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

Rub the steaks with olive oil, then season both sides with salt, black pepper, rosemary, and thyme.

Once the grill or skillet is hot, place the steaks on it and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side without moving them.

Flip the steaks and cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, or longer if desired.
