Peel the yuca and remove the hard center.
Chop the yuca into smaller pieces for easier processing.
Use a food processor to process the yuca until smooth, adding pieces gradually to avoid overloading the processor.
Once processed, use a clean kitchen cloth to squeeze out as much starch as possible from the yuca.
Place the squeezed yuca into a bowl and remove any remaining chunks.
In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat and add the processed yuca.
Add 1/2 tablespoon of salt and 2 cloves of minced garlic to the skillet, stirring continuously.
Cook the yuca mixture until it forms small lumps, not fully cooking it through.
Transfer the mixture to a bowl to cool slightly before handling.
Knead the mixture on a clean surface until it becomes uniform and compact, adding water or oil to adjust moisture if necessary.
Roll out the dough to the desired thickness using hands or a rolling pin.
Use a cutter to shape the dough into circles, reusing excess dough as needed.
