Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
In a mixing bowl, beat 6 eggs at maximum speed for 1 minute until foamy.
Add 150 g of sugar and 1 packet of vanilla sugar, and continue beating for 2 minutes until well mixed.
Sift together 260 g of flour and 2 teaspoons of baking powder, then gradually add this mixture to the egg mixture.
Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
Fold in 126 g of ground almonds into the batter.
Grease a baking pan with butter and pour the batter into it.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
Once baked, let the cake cool before adding the filling.
Prepare the filling by mixing vanilla cream and whipped cream together until smooth.
Cut the cooled cake in half horizontally and spread the filling on the bottom half.
Place the top half of the cake back on and optionally sprinkle with more ground almonds.
