Open the box of golden butter cake mix.

Reserve 1/2 cup of dry cake mix for later use.

In a stand mixer, combine the reserved 1/2 cup of cake mix with brown sugar, cinnamon, and chopped pecans.

Mix the ingredients together until well combined.

Pour the cake mix into the baking pan.

Sprinkle the mixture of brown sugar, cinnamon, and pecans over the cake mix in the pan.

Use a spoon to even out the mixture on top of the cake mix.

Add the remaining cake mix on top of the pecan mixture in the pan.

Prepare the glaze (not shown in the video).
