1

Boil 2 kg of tomatoes in water for 10 to 15 minutes to remove the skin.

2

Once boiled, take the tomatoes out and let them cool down.

3

Fry 500 g of scotch bonnet peppers in oil for about 5 minutes until they are slightly brown, stirring continuously.

4

Add the peeled tomatoes to the pan with the fried peppers.

5

Add 4 to 5 glasses of water to the pot.

6

Add 5 to 6 teaspoons of salt, 1 teaspoon of cumin powder, and 3 teaspoons of brown sugar to the mixture.

7

Mix everything well in the pot.

8

Add 1 bottle of tomato sauce to the mixture and mix again.

9

Use a hand blender to crush everything together until smooth.

10

If you don't have a hand blender, use a food processor or blender instead.

11

Cover the pot and let it simmer on low heat for about 2 hours.

12

After 2 hours, check for oil forming on the sides, indicating the sauce is ready.

13

Store the sauce in bottles, making about 4 to 5 bottles, and freeze some for later use.
