- โ1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- โ1/4 cup soy sauce
- โ2 tbsp brown sugar
- โ1 tbsp sesame oil
- โ3 cloves garlic, minced
- โ1 tsp ginger, minced
- โ1/2 tsp black pepper
- โ2 green onions, chopped
- โ1 tbsp sesame seeds
- โ1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- 1In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- 2Add the sliced beef to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- 3Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- 4Add the marinated beef to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
- 5Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- 6In the same skillet, add the remaining marinade and bring to a simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- 7Return the beef to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- 8Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
- 9Serve hot with steamed rice or lettuce wraps.

- 9Add diced potatoes and continue to simmer for another 20-30 minutes.
- 10Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- 11Remove bay leaves before serving.
- 12Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
