2/3 cup (120g) granulated sugar
1/2 cup (100ml) warm milk
3 tablespoons (45g) melted butter
3/4 cup (100g) all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
2lb (900g) apples
powdered sugar for dusting

Beat the eggs until a thick and fluffy mixture forms.

Add 2/3 cup granulated sugar and mix well.

Pour in 1/2 cup warm milk and 3 tablespoons melted butter, then mix well.

Add 3/4 cup all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder, and mix until no white streaks remain.

Cut the peeled apples into quarters and remove the cores.

Slice the apple quarters into thin slices.

Add the sliced apples to the batter and gently fold them in until fully coated.

Place the coated apples in a 10" x 4.5" loaf pan.

Pour the remaining batter over the apples in the pan.

Bake at 355°F (180°C) for about 50 - 60 minutes until the batter is cooked through.

Let the cake cool in the pan for 1 hour to set.
