Wash the kiwis and ensure they are clean and completely dry before dipping.

Insert a stick into the smaller end of each kiwi, ensuring it goes straight down the center.

In a medium-sized pot, combine 3 cups of sugar, 1.5 cups of water, and 0.5 cups of light corn syrup.

Cook the mixture over medium-high heat until it reaches 300 degrees Fahrenheit, ensuring the thermometer does not touch the bottom of the pot.

At 200 degrees, add in your flavoring (cake batter) to the mixture.

Once the mixture reaches 300 degrees, remove it from heat and place the thermometer in a cup of water to cool it down.

Add gel food coloring (purple and white) to the candy mixture, adjusting until you achieve the desired color without over-thickening the mixture.

Carefully dip each kiwi into the candy mixture, rotating to cover completely, and shake off excess candy.
